Design for Change Ambassador

The masters programme I took part in had a profound impact on my life. After studying a BA in Marketing, and graduating at the age of 21, I had always dreamed of returning to education and pursuing a career in the creative art sector. My passion for design, human behaviour and aptitude for strategic planning, culminated to form an effective toolkit.
The philosophy and principles behind the MA ‘Design for Change’ is one that I carry with me in my daily work. When considering complex systemic problems, I ensure to advocate for actors within a system that are more vulnerable to life’s unprecedented crisis.
After completing the course, I was selected to present my thesis in Lisbon at the FilmEU RIT Doctoral Research Summit, and at Findings IV, IADT’s fourth interdisciplinary symposium celebrating student research, hosted by the Faculty of Film, Art and Creative Technologies.
Conference Participation and Leading Workshops
Working as a researcher in IADT across different projects brought with it some incredible opportunities. I was invited to attend a FilmEu event in Helsinki as part of the C-Accelerate team where I also conducted a design thinking workshop with around 50 international students at Aalto University’s Design Factory.
These experiences travelling to other Universities has helped me to grow as a researcher by broadening my network and gaining further insights regarding my research methods.
